Re: The most horrible thing you'll see ever!!!

Opel Tigra with spoiler.
Old SLK in yellow with green stickers from head to boot.
The list goes on.

This is an old but scary crash and I don't care about the colour-I care about the knicker dropping sound of the DBS.

Re: Laptop

Hi I have that exact same laptop and it's very good except the battery life is shocking and it only comes with 2 USB ports. It's not a business laptop. There is another Dell with a better GPU in it which I saw in the Incredible connection boolet which would be slightly better. Understand that the P5...

Re: A thread not for the easily offended

That's not cool. Well you know of the Muslim investments that ABSA and so on offer? They cannot receive interest on their money so they call it something else and just pile it on top. Sounds like it's the same with the child-they call it a marriage so they can do what they want. It's not like the Qu...

Re: Blueray player versus Playstation 3

My dad bought a Samsung Blue ray player based on it's price (R1000) and we could and did unlock it to be region free. I'll give you details if you want. I pushed for a PS3 because I wanted the PS3 and GT5 and his words were 'I'll never see the PS3 again'. The PS3 is more versatile but at 3 times the...

Re: REALISTIC features of cell phones in the near future.

What you mean like the iPhone 4 costing a ton and then Steve Jobs telling everyone that they are holding it wrong? I doubt price matters that much to some people.

I want a charge pad where you put your phone down on the desk and it charges automatically.

Re: REALISTIC features of cell phones in the near future.

Lame. Try quad cores Physx GPUs that shut off unless needed. Cameras that have a lens attachment which increases the quality of the image you get but that the rails that the lens sits on doesn't intrude. Cameras with better quality CMOS sensors. Personally I think Cameras on phones are just used to ...

Re: RIM collapse beginning?

ZA is a tiny portion of the worlds cell market. It's 2nd in Africa behind Nigeria. RIM is popular here for the service, not the phone. Take the service away and they are badly made phones with no good features. Even Symbian is better than RIM at basics. RIM software is buggy, basic, badly designed a...

Re: Time for a new ADSL modem

I love Linksys but they are expensive. currently running a DSL-2500U DLINK router hooked up to a Linksys WRT-54G WLAN router with a busted adsl port. Best setup ever. The WRT rocks as a WAP and the router cost me R200. You can get a WRT for about $15 to $20 on ebay with shipping and it'll have a wor...

Re: the Barclays English Premier League thread

It must have seemed a good idea for Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson to follow his team-mates and open a Twitter account with star striker Wayne Rooney attracting almost 200,000 followers after only joining the site on Saturday morning. However Gibson deleted his Twitter account less than...

Re: Which Car Lights do you use

Fitting an HID Kit to a car not originally designed for them is illegal... Reason being, is that if you fit it into a car with standard reflector type lenses, it will blind oncoming traffic. A lot of cars now are coming with projector type lenses which should be fine to fit an HID kit into *Should ...

Re: Which Car Lights do you use

Get the lights from a Fiat car. They are insane. Every time I encounter one, which isn't very often since they sell so badly, they blind me. My bulbs are some nice brand but they are offset so the one stick up in the air-I leave it like this to warn people not to try anything People pay attention to...

Re: Which RAM?

More RAM is better than faster RAM and since there is no real difference between 1333 RAM and 2000mhz RAM (the difference is negligible) you might as well get as much RAM as possible. The only thing I would look for is lower latency incase you need it, low profile for your cooler and low voltages fo...

1) Blue ray writer-R900ex
Blue ray disk-R50
Burn data to disk and send to clients/people/whoever

2) create 3 Dropbox accounts and then past the data from the blue rays into the folder

3) update data when needed which happens automatically

4) or use an FTP site.

Re: the Barclays English Premier League thread

Ouch Arsenal, ouch.

No it wasn't a penalty. Lucas went down very easily but it's the refs choice and there were no clear chances that should have gone in the back of the net.

Sure Reina had his hands full but Arsenal were just not able to score in normal play.

Go Liverpool!

Re: Vodacom is Red

What's amazing is how much money is being piled into changing the colour. Just the COLOUR. I know brand loyalty is hard to buy and this is a way of convincing consumers that their brand is better than others (even if it isn't) but damn this is a massive campaign. I know that Vodaphone owns Vodacom a...
