hi wizard, maybe I can help or someone else can . but i think we'd all need a little more info, like:

1.what game is this ?
2.does it have port settings ?
3.which firewall are you using ?

that looks really good, did you do everything by yourself(aside from the beta testing)?
you must be a very patient guy

is it ever coming to SA TV ? or shall we have to download everytime we wanna watch ? I'm a bit behind... by a few gigs

I say it's not really worth it with the type of stuff you'll be doing with the PC, and I really do recommend you to OC, atleast to 1066fsb(then you shouldn't see too much of a difference between the more expensive C2D processor, it's 45nm, shouldn't heat up too much from that

currently running a 350 watt AOpen PSU, what kind of difference in my OC experience should I expect when I upgrade to a 585w Odin(supposedly has dual +12v), E.G. would this mean I could lower my voltages, or raise my clocks higher, system is rock solid ATM, I'm also considering switching to 45nm lat...

norton claims to be a lot less resource hungry these days... maybe you could test the theory for us

protected by AVG Free since 2006, I think it's pretty easy to use, found it by accident while searching for avira, which at the time I thought was good too... does anyone else think it's the AV companies making some of the viruses out there, lol I won't say they make all the viruses, because I think...

the budget board I have in mind is a gigabyte g31m-es2c... It's cheap(most of the time), I've heard it OC's well(so people keep saying, I will make sure of this on monday when I get mine), max 4GB ram(dual channel), and most importantly the 3 year warranty

wait, Is it possible to do the firmware update if you can't see the drive at all ? not even in the BIOS ?

I have a seagate... 500GB SATA, It's dead, and I can't find my reciet... still have four and a half years on the warranty.

press f8 while starting up to get to the startup options, select that one option that says don't restart if there's an error, the BSOD should give you an Idea of what's wrong(maybe an error code you could google)

I haven't found a need yet to go above 775.

tap F8 while the PC is starting, the should be an option to not restart upon crashing and show you a BSOD with a vague description of the problem...

silly question I know, but I have to ask, when you say you rebuilt into a new chassis, did you move all the hardware, including the motherboard ?

lol, ATi lands a few punches every now and then, but nVidia is always quick to throw in a throat chop and a kick in the nuts when ATi doesn't expect it... so far I've only had 1 ATi card lol, a short history of my graphics cards, almost always been nVidia some brand I forgot : 1MB ATi : 8MB Geforce ...
