Getting my Asus Mobo, and gfx soon, soon, MWahahacough...

The new MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI looks very good as well, check on www.HardOCP.com

Most 6600s are pretty much on par with each other

The Asus motherboard is a solid brand with excellent preformance.
I would stick with it due to the reliability/preformance and 3 year warranty.

With the graphics card I would say your best bet would be a Gainward card. Their Golden Samples and GHL vesions are faster and more reliable than the other brands.

but the DFI board overclock the best and have blown all the boards out of the water in performance tests. but Arch does have a point with Asus (even though i dont like em

Unfortunatlety Asus kit in South Africa got a bad rap and was dragged through the mud a bit by certain suppliers.

Now with an authorized distributor they are finally a top notch option.

I use either Intel, Asus or DFI and can honestly say that any of them would be an excellent addition to a PC.

PS Did you know the Asus sells more boards worldwide than Gigabyte, MSI and DFI combined :?

i didnt know that intresting fact. oh well, i still prefer dfi due to what they have done with thier boards especially the Lan party boards with the whole glow feature and the carry case you get with some of them.
