Pretty Nice. If only my buget would allow me.. Aghh. Study, Study, Study.

The more I study the more I'll earn and maybe one day I would be able to buy such fine toy's.

alienware shmalienware, i'd prefer to build a machine myself with the same sorta hardware and save the extra cash for buying games and stuff.

granted you'd probably not get quite the same benchies as those pc's but you won't be far off. Especially if you ask Solo or MrBean for advice

Altho they do look really smart i must say

This is a Notebook. Not a desktop.... Check the link. This notebook runs exactly the same as any high end desktop. Except that it is protable.

I agree but on the notebook side of thing its a bit different....those notebooks are REALLY STYLISH!

WiKiD asks for notebooks and PC's in his first post. I assume he meant desktops when he said PC's.

Unless you're a business man i really don't see the point of spending extra dosh on a laptop when you can get a desktop cheaper and more powerful.

I'm pretty sure as well that no matter how well they tune the notebook it's not gonna be comparitive to a well oiled desktop in terms of performance.

Still i wouldn't mind one ;)

Just think ending up at a lan with a notebook. (No extras) And it will play the game the same if not better than certain desktops.

What about support / warranty?

Telling from the ads I see in PCF UK they are always on standby, but what about SA?

I agree Alienware are the shizznizz!
But no one will import these here and if they do and you buy one and the CPU/RAM/HDD or anything blows who you gonna send it to?
You will have to send it back to the states for an RMA,land up costing you an arm and a leg and you'll wait months to get it back and then who's gonna send it back to you?
Alienware won't.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you gotta take these things into accounbt.

And to pay an extra few thousand rands for a few extra frames per second, is just not sensible. Unless of course you can afford to wipe your butt with R100 notes.
