Unless it clears up soon there will be no cricket today. Just had quite a down pour while on my way to work.
Drainage has been improved at the stadium. So if it clears up soon we may see a little cricket.
I have to work today, have important outages scheduled. So I hope all you spectators get soaked. Ok I am sorry, I'm just being a little jealous. Ok VERY jealous.

Just caught the end of the cricket. Nice victory. Can't believe Nel gave peterson a ball to hit a 6 off the last ball and letting him get his 100.
I just got back from Bafana vs Auz at Absa stadium.
1st half Bafana were very good and well on top and went in 1-0 up at half time thanks to a well worked goal by Mcarthy.
2nd half it POURED with rain and i got soaked. Game evened out and got quite scrappy towards the end.
The auzzie striker scored a brilliant long-range effort to tie the game.
Bafana are a good side, but we still seem to be stuck with this 'go for glory' idea. Each player seems to want to dribble the ball as far as he can until he scores or is tackle (and its usually the latter).
On paper we were by far the better side, but Auz played better as a team.
ANyway it was pretty cool

Yeah I watched a bit of the soccer on tv. It wasn't on any of the supersport channels, yet was on sabc 1. LOL! You actually went to the game, must have been schweet! I went to the England vs. Bafana soccer game that they had at the same ground a while back.Screeper wrote:Just caught the end of the cricket. Nice victory. Benni's goal was great. But what on earth happened for their goal, our keeper decided to do a half jump sort of thing, dude, that's wasn't that hard to save, seriously. But well done to Bafana Bafana anyways.
As for the dribbling, yeah tell me about. Passing is shocking, the whole game was very unprofessional on both the SA and Aussie parts very haphazard indeed.
How much did we win by in the cricket? Got bored and started watching the In-Laws on MNET instead.

That's now 3 in a row for The Proteas (sweeeet). Let's hope for 4 in a row when they play in Durban on Friday.
