English Spam Thread and General Rubbish

Post by D3PART3D »

[Edit by neon_chameleon : This is now the permanent chit chat/ general chat topic, please don't start any more. Similar to the Afrikaans thread]

neon: Who renamed the thread? :(

It was renamed by Lancelot!

Well, since there is a lekker “alles” topic for the Afrikaans people, why not have one for the taal challenged?
This is where you can talk about anything you feel like (obeying forum rules of course) and the topic is: NO TOPIC!!!

Lets see now, I’d like to exercise this right to freedom of speech… what to say? There is so much.

Anybody agree that no game so far has touched Half-life? Not even HL2 with source and all?

THE SPAM ANTHEM
Composed and performed by NealeDeadlyAlien

We're tiny, we're toony, we're all a little looney,
And in this small thready, we're invading your LCD!
We're flaming dispensers, we crack up all the censors,
In English Spamville Country get a dose of comedy!

So here's the English Spam Thread, it's a whole wide world apart,
Our home sweet home, it stands alone, a classy work of art!
The Admins rejected, expect the unexpected
On English Spam Adventures it's about to start!

They're female, they're brittle, they're KK, jee and Tribble,
CapNemo is emo, and Snapa is a pain!
There's wizard and D3, Ron2K is lurking,
ADT will beat you, and DJ is insane!

At Spamville Spamniversity we earn our spam degree,
The Mods and Admins getting laughs since 1933!
We're tiny, we're toony, we're all a little looney,
It's English Spam Adventures, come and join the fun!
And now our song is done!

Yeah, I have been having the same idea of starting an English thread just for the heck of it and in competition to the Afrikaans thread. j/k. The thing is we have had so many "General Chat" threads that I reckoned it would be a bit of an overkill. However saying this it seems that those topics all seemed to have died down. So let's hope this one stays a bit longer. :)

Surely this should be a place of general discussion for things other than computers, just for the sake of posting something, when one doesn't think it warrants a new topic to be made. So talking about HL2, should be left for the HL2 thread, just an idea.

@Rayne I can't find it. I have just searched and dont see it any where...
I will continue looking though. Its pretty fun looking into the past where you have posted before.

What I have really noticed is that there is not many people that visit the forums anymore.. Like Nervar, Chomium, Angry Rabbit....

This is probably just me but either I am not online at the right time (usually) or just its me.

Nerevar only seems to post when he's at school. I saw him online either today.

Angry will be back online when we go back to varsity but Law and AngryRabbit don't use internet at home. The others of our PK clan are too either too busy or lazy. No idea about Chromium.

But someidiotsa, there's been many new people that have joined and reckon there's more posting now than when they were/are around. Some are very interesting people!
