Ha Ha Stormhorse with X2900XT you're not going to match it even with GTX @ 700MHz. This card loves 3DM05... That score was with stock clocks. If I get goin proper should see 23K

8800GTX doesn't scale linearly with CPU clocks like R600 I'm seeing at some point 290fps with HD 2900XT vs 267fps or so on GTX overclocked.
You're prolly at 300~400MHzMHz or higher than me in CPU core with that speed I'd break 24K. (see VR-Zone review )

Yeah that's what I was thinking. we could make 24K there and maybe try 25K.
I also can only bench weekends... I n particular when I rebuild my machine into new box. Will have to set up separate machine as this benching on main rig is just way too much effort.

Well there i can feel your pain, been running all my benching off my main rig for the 3D2k1 runs and then put it all back together and now take it apart again :huh: it's just not fun doing it this way!!
Oh by the way i wanted to ask you something but i wanted to leave a little ( . ) bit on here for all the others to see as well, concerns some oc'ing and some records that need to be set heheh but more later for everyone else, will pm you tomorrow with the info!

With my rig I got 16,000 in 3D Mark 2005 @ default settings (1,024 x 768).
Is that right? Seems a bit low.
AM2 x2 6000+ @ 3 GHz

What were your timings on your ram set at? and what did you have your cpu at? and what was your core/mem on your GTX at?

My GTX was stock, my CPU was running @ 3.0 GHz and my RAM was running at 5:6:5:15.

Probably if you had oc'ed your GFX i would say. You running this bench on Vista or XP and if on XP is it a clean install? reason i say this is if you have alot of apps running you'll find your scores suffer alot!

I ran the bench on XP 64-bit after a fresh install. I ran it again last night on 32-bit, but I have lots of games installed. The score was more or less the same.
