Your 3 favorite movies of all time

Post by Demoraliser »

I thought this would be good to get an idea of what some of the e3 members are like.

My list keeps changing, but these are have been my favorite for some time now:

-The Usual Suspects
-Scent of a Woman
-Matrix

in no particular order...
Lee Mercer (Angel): This is getting ridiculous. The first assassin kills the second assassin sent to kill the first assassin, who didnt assassinate anyone until we hired the second assassin to assassinate her.

These are mine (according to number) and they will NEVER change:

1. The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King (9)
2. The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring (16)
3. The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers (12)

In brackets the number of times I've seen each one (as at 03/09/2004).

The 3 greatest movies ever made.

The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King
The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers
The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring

By far my three most loved films.

I have all of them on DVD, both standard two disc editions AND collectors extended editions (except of course for Return of the King - the extended edition is two months away). I also have loads of collectibles from the films - I'm a huge fan.

I've seen Fellowship of the Rings almost 100 times

nah man, you're supposed to have a top five or ten; not a top three. Anyway...
My top movie list always changes depending on my mood. In no particular order...
1-The Last Samurai
2-Blade
3-Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
4-Hackers
5-But I'm a cheerleader
6-The Matrix
7-Interview with the Vampire
8-A walk to remember
9-Brave Heart
10-The One

Ha! I defy you and give you ten instead of three!

Rice's books are dry, I'll admit to it. The movie rendition of Interview with the vampire, however, was brilliant. I like that suffering type of vampire. There is a tragic beauty in the immortal undead that I think she has dead on (no pun intended). I didn't like her whole boring reason behind the vampire, but the characters are cool.
Anita Hamilton *adds her to my growing "to read" list*

Narkath, you will only read Hamilton's Anita Blake series if you can take erotic horror, something that the greatest vampire books are know for.....
