Tri-nations Final

Post by Tel »

The game on Saturday must have been the best game I have seen in a LONG time! A 40-26 thrashing of the All Blacks!!! 8)

Marius Joubert getting a hat trick of tries too. :bigups:

Now onto Durban and lets all hope that the boks can keep up their good performance and WIN THE TRI-NATIONS!!!

The second ref missed a couple of things, but he didnt favour any side. I think the Boks would have won either way. Impressive that they scored 5 tries. Its the best so far in the Tri-Nations. Imagine if Percy had a 100% kicking record. Ouch!

Every person in the team worked hard and that paid off. The storming defence knocked New Zeeland back very well. They were afraid to touch the ball later on and made allot of errors as they were always on the lookout for Bok defenders....hahaha

Go Bokke!!

I was so lucky to have been at Ellis Park for the NZ game, the atmosphere was awesome, the crowd so partisan, it was indescribable! On or two tense moments in the second half though but overall a fine performance by the Boks.
So the Tri Nations is going to be decided in the next eighty minutes of rugby on Saturday. If South Africa wins and the Aussie bonus points are denied to them, the Tri Nation cup is ours! If SA lose however, we end up last on the log! Quite something :?:

All depends if we can scrum well enough and put pressure on Gregan and Larkam not to control matters too much. Also, we need to watch their wings. Rathbone is quick and Lathan is good with the boot for touch.

SA should win 24 - 18

Let the games begin !!!!

I'm still half deaf from the Boks vs. All Blacks game last Saturday - that's what I get for inviting Rugby fanatics to my flat! :P

Congrats to the boks.
The final was an awesome game, and we stuck it out the last 10 minutes allthough we had only 14 players.

Things are looking up for the next world cup.

What a day, what a game! What a team! Kind of makes up for the past poor performances and gives one hope for the future! Here's to the November UK tour! :P
