help me now before i move to some remote island and live rest of my life as a hermet.
my friend broke up with his girlfriend whom i like(the girl)
and she and i are still friends but im developing feelings for her, i think... and if i ask her out it could go the same way as my friends relationship with her went. plus i'll risk losing one of the most awesome friends in the world(her) if i take my friendship with her further and ask her out.
I am not that sure; my suggestion would be to let it ride for a few weeks and see which way the path leads. At this early stage you may find that the two originals may get together again, often happens but the writing for them is on the wall! Very few relationships that follow the "on/off" pattern survive in the long term.
To attempt to change your relationship too early though could end in disaster, although I doubt sincerely that it would end the frienship, if it does, the frienship was never strong to begin with! It may result in an embarresing situation which could cause a natural drifting apart. He who dares, wins, but one needs to tread carefully.
Young love is a tempetous ride but so rewarding, regardless of the outcome. The ability to bounce back among the young is a tremendous attribute to have!
ya i wouldn't ask her out on the rebound. thats asking for trouble.
but i tnik im gonig to let my feeling lie and see how it goes. i think shes one of those girls who doesn't mind taking the inniative. but ya i'll wait and see. the thing that makes me more nervous is what will her ex say. i think he'd be cool with it as he and i are good friends but i think it mite annoy him.
