nice try.
Try?
Hulle laat my dink aan 'n 2-jarige. Neeeee! Dis my cd! Myne! My eiendom! Myyyyyneeee! Niemand mag hiermee speel nieeeee!
Bladerunner, enige iemand met 'n bietjie verstand erken dat die rekordmaatskappye gierig is, en dat hulle meestal hulle eie sakke voer voordat die kunstenaars, wat hard werk, enige iets daarvan kry.
Dit is so met enige groot kommersieele concern. Om egter te pirate left right and center gaan nie die saak oplos nie. Die feit is dat piracy illegal is.. en op hierdie forum word dit nie aangemoedig nie. If you don't want to respect that, there is no place for you here..
"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.
Do some research on Operation Payback is all I'm going to say on this one.
The fact of the matter is that the RIAA, lawyers who associate with them and their cyber-mercenaries have been targeting innocent, less tech-savvy users in order to charge money from them as well as DDoSing file sharing sites.
Ahh and Operation Payback just DDoS back? Let me see, and eye for an eye and a file for a file?
I wonder who is the cyber-mercenaries here.

On September 29, Chicago divorce lawyer John Steele filed a case far outside his usual realm of family law and custody dispute; he represented First Time Videos, LLC, which an attached declaration calls "a leading producer and distributor of adult entertainment content within the transsexual niche." Internet users had been sharing First Time Videos' porn through BitTorrent—but what did Steele know of BitTorrent or file-swapping litigation?
The answer: who cares? After all, you can just copy large portions of your complaint from some other P2P lawyer like US Copyright Group, which has been filing similar complaints since January. While reading Steele's complaint earlier this week, certain phrases jogged my memory—hadn't I seen this before? For instance, Steele had this:
JUSTICE, n A commodity which is a more or less adulterated condition the State sells to the citizen as a reward for his allegiance, taxes and personal service.
I'm new here so bear with me. And also I'm nearly 60 years old, so help me. I do agree that buying illegal software is wrong. But what now if I'm looking for video's of old songs from the 60's and 70's? I cannot find it anywhere in cd shops. Some are available on youtube. Is it illegal to download that video's? It feel like it might be, but if I can't get it anywhere else what now.
What is the code of conduct regarding customers bringing their PCs in for repairs or service that have pirated software on it? Are we allowed to install service packs and such as long as we don't circumnavigate the DRM ourselves? I've had customers coming with problems that would require me to install XP SP3, but then if authentication fails, am I required to abandon the service?
@ Herfre: I personally don't have much problem with downloading stuff from Youtube, especially if it is by someone in your position. I don't think the piracy police will come break down your front door or anything.

Actually I would report the matter. As side a business I do virus cleaning and nearly 99% of the time some sort of illegal software can be found on the PC's.I just usually just tell them the data is unrecoverable due to some obscure virus and a format is required.
But some legit data is lost however these idiots here don't back up data so it's a win for me.!
But seriously report the suckers...

The answer is neither here nor there. Some of those videos may be copyrighted and some may not. So you're kinda stuffed.
Do you want the videos for personal use?

A surprising amount of modern pseudoscience is coming out of the environmental sector. Perhaps it should not be so surprising given that environmentalism is political rather than scientific.

Because half the guys that come in are police officers from the local police station here their local network is infected with viruses. So that kinda puts me in a situation I can't afford to be in
An angry mob of police officers raiding your behind at 2 am because they suspect I deal in narcotics vs simply formatting...In this case self preservation for my future kids win hands down.

I am so old that I have all those 60 and 70's songs on their original vinyl so I just rip them to MP3. Am I a pirate, no not at all, I am against all forms of blatant piracy. However there are just so many grey areas here about personal use and so on that I am not only confused by it all but in my occasional lucid moments I normally ask here if it is OK. For example, I recently asked about embedding a video from you-tube, this is legal if the the option is provided, this is my understand anyway. I am too old to be sent to jail .
Hell no! Not chicken, just particularly worried who my cell mate will be on the bogus charge they will slap me with....Large bold dudes with tatoo's of skinning little men striked out on their shoulders and backs I might add, as well as the disturbing real life tattoo of rusty pup on his chest "Rusty is my idol......"

I guess because they don't supply Viagra to inmates? You'll have to change your name to

Sorry, I am operating out of a haze of flu and medicine.

Well lets put it this way. I feel that when it comes to games suppliers must give their customers more options. I'm a RPG(JRPG) fan but South African Suppliers just look after themselfes in most regards because I only hear and see the great trailers but not the actual game. If you ask Local suppliers they just say the demand in South Africa is not High enough for them to bother to get the game. So then I have to buy it online from amazon etc. Just an example the new Atlier Rorona game. It recieves top scores overseas but our suppliers are just not botherd. I went to I don't know how many stores and they don't even know about the game. Crappy......
If piracy helps something to grow and get a lot more famous is it still a bad thing?
If it werent for piracy a lot of brilliant anime wouldnt be known to most of the world and a lot of merchandise would not have been sold.
Some say the anime industry thrives on piracy which I totally believe.
