Piracy in general

Okay, it seems some people never learn. Do not talk about pirated things on this site! This includes downloading software, games, music or movies and then talking about having watched a movie or episode that has not yet been aired or is not available to the general public.
We cannot stop you from committing piracy, but out of consideration for Entertainment 3.0, please do not discuss anything that you have obtained illegally in any sections of this site! If you do, the thread will either be locked or your thread will be edited, depending on the nature of the discussion.

a simple "we had this discussion and i locked the thread" would suffice, i wasn't aware you locked another thread for the intrusion on the piracy policy.
if i mention something about 'you know what' in connection with 'you know who' will you lock this thread as well
just kidding man, i wasn't my intention to incite another flame about piracy.

It's not just because of your post Kher, I'm getting more and more people posting about the "cool" stuff they downloaded from kazaa, or posts in the gaming sections asking what the latest games are so they can download it, etc. etc.

Speaking of Piracy...
Isn't it so that the illegal DVD's you buy from the guys off the street can damage your DVD player? I mean the top part of the DVD (the cover) is totally transparent at the back of the CD while original CDs isn't transparent.

Ok... but it really isn't worth it even to buy that nonsence. I'm sure you all know why!
But why does only the PS2 get damage instead of DVD players? I mean, don't they read the data the same way?
