i'm taking that this thread's topic is as broad as possibly possible.
just out of sheer curiousity, who ever read I-robor by Isaac Asimov.

i saw the trailer for the movie and the whole storyline is different...well, mostly.

maybe the reason for this is because they wanted it to appeal to a younger generation so they added more action to it. it still looks good though!

So I won't be watching Riddick :)
Are you a sci-fi fan at all, cause I didn't think it was that bad. Maybe if you stayed awake longer than fifteen minutes you would have gotten into the story.

Pitch black and chronicles are part of a trilogy, much like Matrix. Except the 3rd installment of Riddick is supposed to take place before the chronicles of Riddick, straight after Pitch black (Hope that was understandable). Its an animated film by the same guy that did the Animatrix, Peter Chung. I'm looking forward to it, cause the animatrix was mind blowing....

It's all about taste really.
If you're not into sci-fi, you won't like it.
If you don't like an actor, you won't like it etc.

i'm using my forehead as an advertisement for kit-kat, they put a tatoo on my head and i have to put one on every day for 6 hours for the whole of next week. they pay R60 a day so me and a few friends are doing it. problem is i have a little dilemma.
Next month The Offspring is coming to RSA and i want to go but on the other hand i want a new graphics card, but meanwhile i want to buy Doom3 or at least Ground Control2. i can't make my mind up what i want first.

i'm eyeing doom cuz 'yall make it hard to forget that it's on our shelves soon but i thinb i'll enjoy it more with a new graphix card.

Maybe you guys will know.

I have the original Doom 3 and I came across some patches to be able to write all 3 CD's to one DVD which I did and it works 100%.

Is this piracy?

I don't think so. Unless the copyright laws have changed since last time I checked.

As long as you only use this DVD privately it's 100% legal.

Thanks guys. I feel much better now.
The DVD autoruns and installs perfectly without having to swap CD's.
It's mainly for a backup purpose, so the original stays in good condition.

where did you find it? (the patch)

would much rather have a backup on 1 dvd, than 3 cd's.

Anime part is called Chronicles of Riddick - Dark Fury & is 'bout 30min long, it won't be going on Big Screen but straight 2 DVD, I've seen is & it is an in between, after Pitch Black but before Chronicles, it contains some references to both, pretty cool to watch even if it is short

Whell i saw the topic heading Piracy so here i go.

I am a former pirate but now i only deal with origenals. I like supporting the community and the developers who work hard for there money. I even thought of getting HL2 the copied version but instead i turned good and Pre ordered it from kalihari... It is hard to live without pirated games because my pc is empty and very clean just about 4 games on and that is it.

Whell i hate pirace and everyone who supports it :!:
