You are suffering from Delusional Paranoia, this is quite common amongst people who are doing work or have hobbies that are not appreciated by others. Sanitary Engineers and Mattress Testers come to mind. In an attempt to glamorise their profession they call it by another name. See quotes in the June Correction thread.
