Why do we Post?

Post by doo_much »

So why DO we post on these forums?
There is no financial gain that I know of. Maybe a sense of community or belonging.
Are we inherently herd animals who cannot stand being 'alone' or do we just like ragging and talking without the added responsibility of answering every time were spoken to?

Maybe it’s because we want to communicate with others, have a little fun, pick up on some tips, and push work aside for a little while...

We post to serve, honour and help. Err, or we have no lives.
It is one of the two, I can't really tell which one though

It's something entertaining to do to relieve the occasional boredom of work :) Conversation, even online, is always fun!

Some of us post because we are delusional, we think that the forum elevates our status into something that we are not.
Others post because it gives them a feeling of comfort, a feeling of being, that they interacting with like minded people.
Others post to improve their perceived self-esteem.
like to see that number on the left keep ticking
Some because interaction and the collecting of knowledge is an all-consuming force.
Others have multiple personality disorders and using a pseudonym for them is advantageous.
Some double post because they suffer from Alzheimer’s or oncoming senility or are just plain careless.
Others just enjoy the relaxation and bonhomie found on this site, but most of post because we are plain cuckoo!
