[PR] ASUS Announces DSL-N16U N300 ADSL Modem Router

ASUS today announced the DSL-N16U ADSL modem router, an 802.11n wireless router with a built-in ADSL/ADSL2+ modem and dual-WAN support. DSL-N16U offers Wi-Fi speeds up to 300Mbit/s on the 2.4GHz wireless frequency band, and uses dual independent CPUs for the wired and wireless networking functions to ensure fast and reliable data connections. DSL-N16U features a hardware NAT capable of data transfers speeds of up to 900Mbit/s between the internet and the local network, a feature that can improve both reliability and performance on modern high-speed broadband services.

This makes zero sense for 3rd worlders like you lot - but I tell you what...

My house is smack bang in the middle of a massive fibre rollout here

That will test the 900Mbit/s bottleneck between the internet and the local network... I will have to check and see if I can get an uncapped account tho... 1st world problems, right :?:
