Well you can buy it from here:
https://www.evopoints.co.za/store/#/game-downloads/

But I've never used evopoints before. Anyone have any experience with them?

**starts singing**
The twitters are aliiiive with the sound of evopoints!
**loud, raucous applause**
**takes a bow**

And no, the applause was not for me stopping singing, it was for me singing.

But seriously, there was a lot of noise on twitter earlier today about evopoints and Titanfall codes. Since bad news travels fast I would assume that if someone had anything bad to say about them it would've come out by now. I have not bought from them (yet?) though.

According to this, the real reason isn't the lack of local servers, but about a CPA complaint by some malcontents.

According to this, Evopoints works. But what would be an acceptable ping to EU servers? Judging from BF3 and 4, anything under 200ms should be ok. No?

CPA didnt do anything to battlefield 4 did it?

And there are things to consider. CoD4 is very lag dependant so the difference between 50 and 150ms is night and day. BF4 is playable on 200-300ms but after 200ms you start to notice differences.

I don't think Titanfall works on frostbite.

I think it has more to do with the servers than with the Graphics engine, but I get your point. I haven't played CoD online, so can't really comment. Still, I would have liked to test out the Beta, but it is too late now. I'll wait for feedback from other who decide to try out the Evopoints approach.

Rumours going around that Titanfall has server issues. To point out the not so obvious, Titanfall is 7% more expensive today than yesterday. It was R499 from them.

I used another online service to buy a code for the BF4 Second Assault expansion, as my Mastercard doesn't want to go through in Origin for some reason. I paid R160, while it was R119 on origin.

I bought it from Code4Game.es, where the Titanfall base game is $46.62, vs $49 at Evopoints. You can use PayPal, so you can get your money back if it doesn't work for some reason (the code, not the game I don't think).

Is there anyway to get the game installer other than a 20 gig download? Can one person download it and then transfer it on the sneakernet?

20GB? Someone said it was 50GB because of a 30-38gb uncompressed sound file.

Who in their right mind would play uncompressed sound? I would much rather let sound be processed and decompressed to ram than put strain on a SATA controller with such through put.
