port forward on 3g router

Hi Guys.
I have been struggling all of yesterday tryna port forward my clients connection to her DVR. I'm using a netgear n300 with a 8ta dongle connected to the usb. I haven't had trouble like this before but also never tried setting up port forwarding on 3G. I have gone to and set up the inbound settings to forward to the DvR ip and the correct port. I have a dyndns.org account which I use to update the IP addresss but I cannot ping nor connect to the router at all from an external network.
Please Help.
