Your First Forum Post Here

Post by GDI_Lord »

While searching through my posts looking for a post that I had made I decided to see what my first post here was. I had a bit of an embarrassed laugh at mine (ah, to be 21 again!) and wondered what your first posts were.

Search here for it and then copy the direct link to it and quote your post on this thread! I'd love to point and laugh at your first posts, completely lacking context of course! :-)

Have you tried resetting the router to original settings and then setting your network card to obtain IP automatically? Forgive me if this is too obvious.
:)

Edit: I have been alerted that it is my second post by Oom Doo.

Hey guys.

Here is my current system, if you want to have a laugh!

AMD 3500+
1.5 Gig ValueRam 667
Sparkle GeForce 7100gs
160 Gig Maxtor ATA Hard Drive

So, I have been surfing around looking for the best deal for a more respectable setup and have narrowed onto these components:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3GHz 6MB 1333Mhz FSB R1787
Leadtek WinFast PX9800 GT 16xPCIE 256-bit 512MB GDDR3 R1629
2 * Corsair DDR2-800 1GB XMS2 Xtreme Performance R500
Asus P5KPL-C/1600 IG31 Motherboard w/A8 + LK + SATA2 R712
500 W Power supply R374

Now, that graphics card’s price has got me somewhat worried.
etc
etc
etc
:)

Been losing interest in games anyway, slowly but surely (hope it doesn't continue), so now I'll hang here.

PS: way back in page 4 or 5 or something, it sounded like someone had a problem with Star Wars ( ), so I just wanna say it is the ULTIMATE. Besides, looking at OnlyOne (post count- Brazed go cry like a baby), I'd say it is pretty dangerous not to like it... Just kidding.

Hey, this looks like a cool place after all.

Edit : found a typo.

I have both games full versions and not either one of them are ugly.

May I ask what card you are running.
I am using a 9800xt, and I run everthing on high.
Area 51 has better graphics than Pariah though.
I was pleasantly surprised at the graphics in Area 51.
And the intro is not bad at all.

Shot.
Haha lol...

I do know for a fact I am still using my original Avvie...I use it everywhere I go...dashing through the snow...

meh Mine was asking for advice on cooling paste: http://forums.pcformat.co.za/viewtopic. ... 397#p88397
Anakha56 wrote:Hey There

I recently bought myself the Gigabyte 3d Cooler Pro and it is a brilliant heatsink and fan, my only problem is the paste that came with it. It does very little in the way of transferring heat so I'm looking to buy new thermal paste and I want to know whats better out of the these two. Artic Silver 5 or Artic Silver Ceramique and why?

I can barely translate, but it seems I was asking for some help concerning some graphical glitches I was experiencing with Unreal Tournament 2003.

Experience gaming in Real life...
I must be going mad. I read an article in the latest mag about a competition where you experience gaming in real life. It is in connection with the Zone. Why can't I see any rules and info on the website. Need to know age limits, etc.

Please help!! :?:

Consider using BigDecimal or BigInteger in double precision ops....
