This weekend (12-14 July 2013) is the time. Jabula Recreation Centre is the place. ICON is what is happening.

What is ICON? Basically your table top gaming community getting together for a weekend of fun. Magic The Gathering, Warhammer fantasy, 40K. And of course - Cosplay eye candy for the guys - and competitions for both.

Have a look at the brochure. I went last year with my kids - and my daughter who wasn't into any of this - absolutely loved it.

We are hoping to have a mini meet there for those of us who are interested in spending real time with our online friends. Suggestions for times? Thinking Saturday but I will possibly be there Sunday too (if it is as much fun as last year). Oh yes - bring money. Lots of it if you have a resistance problem.

Oh and bonus - buy an Icon mug and coffee/tea is free. If it is as cold as last year - that is a prerequisite.

I will take photos of the hot cosplay chicks for you. Even with the cold we had last year - there were so many Laura Crofts.

I'll probably be there Saturday and Sunday not sure what times exsactly since I'm kinda playing with the idea of sticking around for the midnight M14 prerelease event on Friday

Cool.

Cosplay competition is around 11. So just before should be good. Otherwise afternoon - but then you may miss most of them

Just a heads up - no comments about Tribblet She is 13! (The Dragonborn character - yes she is an Imperial Sadly they don't take after their mother)
