The classic Contra has been recreated on ios. Sadly no cross purchase is available for them but they look and feel like the original (with much improved visuals).

That's awesome, what a great game, brings back memories of my cartridge video game system in the 90's.

To be honest I won't mind some of those old games getting a face lift while remaining the same.
