Well I must say I only jumped on to the SW bandwagon late, but I did enjoy the films. I also do not really care who owns the rights to it to be honest, so long as if they make another film or 2 or 3 they do it well. It will be interesting to see what comes of it all that is all I have to say.

I read that the story might carry on a decade or two after episode 6, which continues the story of Luke Skywalker, and would deal with the rebuilding of the republic.

I am not a SW fanboi, so I say have at it Disney. They have been known to produce some really entertaining films, so lets see what they can come up with, after all, good or bad it is more Star Wars...not to mention if you don't like it, you can always go back to rewatching the old school classics over and over again...

Yep. I have both trilogies and I watch the whole thing from begging to end almost every month
