My car (2007 Golf MK1) is way past due for a service. Can anyone recommend some places in Cape Town, or maybe just share your experiences, good or bad, with various dealers?

I must confess to my lack of general vehicular knowledge, so I just need to find a place that won't take advantage of that.

You see, I purchased a Groupon special earlier today for a major service at Kessel Motors for a very reasonably price. However, someone then pointed me to Hellopeter and, to my dismay, customer satisfaction appears to be extremely low with that company. I'll be cancelling that Groupon purchase.

So, any advice on alternatives?

Ferroli Performance Centre in Killarney Gardens or Wackers VW/Audi Specialists in Paarden Eiland. Had good experiences with both. Robbie at Ferroli is very knowledgeable and won't BS you, they're doing my performance clutch install on my Mk6 GTI soon.
