Don't sweat over the hardware.

Try not to develop static while working with your hardware.

You might get an elongated beep the first time you power up. Just reseat your RAM and try again.

A modular PSU is always nice to have for cable management and cooling, but they are typically a little more expensive. If you can't afford it, don't stress too much.

As far as I know the XFX 750W Pro is modular anyway

I would assume he had the modular in mind, the fully wired one has a bit of a birds nest attached to it

But what would you do?

Option 1: R1,084.00 for a fully wired XFX 750W
Option 2: R1,135.00 for a semi-modular XFX 750W
Option 3: R840.18 for a fully wired Silverstone 700W

Personally, I'd be inclined to save the cash on a PSU (by buying the Silverstone) and perhaps use it to invest in some more (but cheaper) RAM for rendering.

Me, I would go for the modular. Don't like millions of unused cables lying about.

But for this rig saving a bit on the psu and getting more ram would not be a bad thing.

Ive never heard of this Silverstone fella...is he good?
If I opt for non-modular, will cable management be that tough? im sure it will be managable

Yes, Silverstone might be considered somewhat decent. You won't have an issue.

Here are some general tips for when putting things together:
- Never force things. If you have to force it, then you have probably stuck it in the wrong way round.
- Remember to remove the protective plastic from the bottom of the CPU cooler.
- Don't wear wooly socks and stand on a carpet during assembly
- Always use protection

Yes.
