Re: PCF Gauteng Meet: 30 June 2012
OK ADT, sorry but I won't be able to make Gilroy's. My original plan was to spend Friday night in PTA and then do the breakfast thing on Saturday. Need to be back home at 13:30 at the latest.
And that definitely won't happen if we do the Gilroy's thing.
When are you flying back now?

It's a heck of a long drive for me ADT. Looks like meeting this time around just wasn't on the cards.

When is the next meet? Anyone from North West?
Re: PCF Gauteng Meet: 30 June 2012
Next (mini) meet is at rAge.
Which, incidentally, I probably won't make.

That really sux - birdie may not make it either. He has had an op or two and not feeling great. But I am trying to convince him otherwise
Re: PCF Gauteng Meet: 30 June 2012
We had a birthday party this weekend but then it was moved to the rAge weekend due to lack of enthusiasm about this weekend. I might manage a brief early morning meet, but the party begins at noon, so I need to be back by then.

Early morning would be good. Doors open at 9am.
Re: PCF Gauteng Meet: 30 June 2012
I could probably swing a 9:00 / 9:30 meet for an hour so.

Re: PCF Gauteng Meet: 30 June 2012
I should be there as long as nothing comes up.
9am works out perfectly for me. Qualifying for the Japaneses f1 gp is at 7 so after that I will make my way to northgate......hopefully there is parking near the dome at that time

Re: PCF Gauteng Meet: 30 June 2012
There should be - though it fills up quickly
Re: PCF Gauteng Meet: 30 June 2012
Last year I had to park in Northgate's parking and walk, but that was closer to midday.THE_STIG wrote:I should be there as long as nothing comes up.

Re: PCF Gauteng Meet: 30 June 2012
maybe I will just save myself the frustration and go to northgates rooftop parking and then walk to the dome.
@Stu, every other year the parking near the dome has been completely full but that was also around midday

I have always gone on a Sunday - and arrived just before 9. Been able to park quite close. But I guess Saturdays could be a different story

Just go on the roof, much less trouble and easier to get out again

Re: PCF Gauteng Meet: 30 June 2012
Mouse make it a rAge party then you can ditch them for the meet
but shouldn't this rather have it's own thread or a title update?
