Ok for those who doesn't know how this works:
PSN+ is the PS3 paid service. Multiplayer on PS3 is already free (xbox needs XBL gold sub). So what makes PSN+ worth it? The answer: Freebies and discounts!
You can sign up for 3 months or 12 months. This gives you access to a few games selected by Sony each month. They are yours to keep and play until you subscription expires. According to the PSN+ thread if you renew your subscription later on those downloaded freebies will reactivate.
If you buy a game at a discounted price it flags as a sale and you will enjoy the game even after your sub for PSN+ expires.
The US and the EU/ZA stores differ and you can expect the following games for SA:

That is an impressive list but let's face it the demand from your digital side is huge. So make sure you have at least 50gb or uncapped.South African Store is getting:
