We all do sometimes. I did stop to think about the Celscius and Fahrenheit question.

I did it quickly - but really didn't know the answers I got wrong. It wasn't because I rushed.

"How old is the earth?" Correct answer: 4.5 Billion years.

On a christian site? I am surprised.

Because most Christian sites tend to go with the: "God created the world and universe in 7 days, and noah saved 2 of every animal except dinosaurs (which were actually put int he ground as a joke by Him), and also, the earth is only a couple of millenia old" story.

I would not have thought of it that way.

All I felt certain of was that it could not be -400, as the Celsius scale ends at ~ -273.15

I got bored of the quiz after 30 questions. Got about 18/30 at that point. But most of it was figuring out the answer rather than guessing or knowing.

As for age, after watching apollo 13 I was interested in the US space programs, the lovely US rocket explosions, the Russian space programs, the russion rocket explosions, the chinese rocket programs explosions, and read something that the moon is older than the earth, that the entire surface of the moon was a molten river.

Science is interesting. Too bad so much of it is calculated rather than observed fact.

Really? I thought that the moon was a result of a primeval collision between proto-Earth and another object about the size of Mars.

I would guess that the surfaces of all of the rocky planets in our solar system were oceans of lava before they froze.

Too easy for you?
Pretty much. The having to double click to move on and slow internet was also a contributing factor.
