just looking for a program to monitor frames rates while playing game's.
I want to start tweaking the setting's for my games but not sure what software would be the best,

I think MSI afterburner does that. Otherwise give FRAPS a try http://www.fraps.com/download.php

I use MSI Afterburner, does the same as fraps, but is free and can also OC my card
