My advise - see a psychiatrist.

Lol silly nut. He obviously has issues he needs to work through - but bad choices don't necessarily mean your life isn't worth it. Take what was good from it and move on. So she may be a cow (forgive the assumption here) - he is going to have a precious little girl to make up for it. He is going to belong to the group where butterfly kisses are a reality - and nothing is more special than that.

My brother walked away from his kid because the mother was a psychotic *****. He regrets it to this day.
