Google in our brains

Reykjavík's Borg-ermeister wrote: Children are a little more perfect than their parents. This is not something all parents admit. It can be painful. It is dreadful to lose to one’s children in a game of Trivial Pursuit, or at armwrestling. I have an experience of this. Enough about that.
<...>
One day, machines and humans will fuse into a single entity. It will be called The Singularity. This will happen in around 25 years. Then, we will biologically connect to the internet. We will be able to get a nano-router grafted into our brains. We will be able to google in our brains.
<..>
I would like to see more tourists in horrible months, like October and November. A lot of tourists spend Christmas and New Years Eve in Reykjavík. That is good. But I would like to see more tourists here during Easter. Icelanders celebrate Easter by eating giant eggs made from light milk chocolate. The eggs are filled with candy. I once read how this is relevant to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, but have since forgotten. Anyway, it isn’t important, because these eggs are very tasty! And each egg comes with an Icelandic proverb. If I were a foreigner, I would spend my Easter in Reykjavík and buy a lot of Easter eggs.

<if the next story out of Reykjavík doesn't include this man, a high-powered snow-blower, a skunk of questionable origin and the words "massacre", "scarred for life" and "slaughterhouse" - i, for one, would be shocked...>

That is how its suppose to work isnt it? Gain genetics from both parents, drop garbage, then produce a more perfect being. 2 arguments against it though.
1 - if we were meant to be perfect then Adam and Eve's children would already be perfect.
2 - there would be no retards in the world.

The singularity part reminds me of that Asimov story where everyone merges and the computer restarts the universe.

And yes. Easter eggs are very tasty indeed ...laid by a gender and race confused rabbit but let's not spoil it for anyone.

TLDR KK?

The author has a bit of a problem stringing together coherent thoughts, methinks.

This will happen in around 25 years.
And here I was counting on this being our final year *sigh* Not sure how much of this stuff called "work" I can take.

On the plus side - I know where I will be spending the Easter after the apocalypse.
because these eggs are very tasty! And each egg comes with an Icelandic proverb.
I want to see those proverbs. No - I have to see those. And what sort of candy they put in their eggs. Oh wait - I can google that now - no need to wait.

Clickle here and then click on the picture to see a video of how they make these works of yummy art.

Still looking for examples of the proverbs they put into the eggs though.... could take a while

You all realise the guy who wrote this is a comedian/politician.
He's also the mayor of Reykjavík and the leader of a major political group

I'd say he looks like a mix of John Lithgow and Christopher Walken. Uncannily so.

You believe in Adam and Eve?

I think we have bigger problems here...

An but Adam and Eve's children were perfect. I once questioned the incest during those years (enough of it to create a whole village) and was told that it was ok because the line was pure - they were perfect.
