Remember November

Remember remember the 5th of November... but I would rather play my games.

Anyway picked up the mag but haven't had time to read thru it. The article that got my attention happened to be "Are gamers afraid of sex?"

This kind of topic actually came up on a discusion: Is the ERBS good enough? Well our own FPB has nothing on the matter since no one would listen to a small countries laws that are uninvolved in any digital creation appart from its own.

What it comes down to is simply that the gaming industry is self regulating. Bigger audience = more money, dunno how CoD does it with the sub 15 kiddies in it. The thing it came down to is simply the laws on pornography is brutal in its clarification. A game like Witcher 2 banged on the edge of it while Dragon age played it safe with showing off cloth. Another thing to remember is a few years back where content was hidden in GTA SA but got hacked open and played off as a scandle about trying to bypass regulations.

Perhapes I should not shoot off my mouth before actually reading the article but in reply to "before gamers can be taken seriously" I answer, It is an interactive medium where you control most of the actions and in that you don't want a nanny state to touch your entertainment you skip some parts of the experience entirely.

Finally gotten around to reading it. Seems I did talk my mouth off as everything in the article was bubblewrapped in what I said.

Which leads to the question ...Lollipop chainsaw anyone?
