Well, if I DO follow you on the bike, please keep in mind I'm limited to about 100kph. I was meant to get new sprockets for the bike to tweak my gearing, but that plan fell through. My peak power is around where I'm at 100kph.

May I ask what route you guys are going to be using to get to the meet?

well... i'm not sure... it we pick Anky up then it will probably be to hillcrest and then the normal way down to the south coast...

as soon as Anky wakes up (he's on night shift) then i will have more confirmation....

ok, so i got this from a friend... we have a bit of a problem!!

National road block dates Dec. 16, 23, 30.

All Fridays and through to Sat mornings.

No Mercy, one beer is over the limit. Jail till hearing on Mondays.
Car will be impounded. If arrested. Min R2000.00 to retrieve car if it
is in road worthy condition. &
No outstanding fines and license up to date.

Well I have no idea if I have any outstanding fines but what I do know is that I am not drinking. So whats the problem?

Can I call BS? The law states a minimum blood alcohol level- if you're under the limit, then you're under the limit

I bet that will cause quite a traffic jam....and ruin a few peoples holidays. Luckily there wont be any road blocks on the 20th as I have to drive my dads car back from the merc dealer in Shelly beach

Okay, an update on my behalf: I've let two of the three other drivers know that I'll be on hour late on Friday, so that gives me 6PM.

I still need to let the manager and third driver know - but so far I've managed to get another hour in my wallet xD


Speaking of road blocks - I NEED to know the following: Is it safe to ride a motorcycle on the highway with only a learner's license?
