I was down in Margate this past week, and the traffic was not bad just that there are lots of roadworks on the N3 so if they are not done by the 16th then things could get rather bad.


Here is where they were:

N3 between Villiers and Warden
Some on the N3 either side of Harrismith
N3 Van-Reenens pass.....but those looked about done
Major roadworks at the Greytown off-ramp in Pietermaritzburg(again on the N3)....that could get interesting on the 16th

There are roadworks on the N2 but only near Port-Shepstone

I get off at Hibberdene and go to Port Shepstone that way

But thanks for the update - will remember that on Tues

I'm toying with the idea of the GSX-R- I bought new tyres on Saturday

But I think for safety and sanity I'll probably just stick with the Civic.

Good idea - we want you arriving. Besides - Friday has rain forecast

Rain = definitely no go on the motorcycle.

So - who in PMB is willing to lift me? So long as I can get back home before 5PM? xD

you dont need much clothes while you are visiting. Just something to travel in and something to go to the meet.... *wicked grin*

Reason I need to get home before 5PM is that I have work that evening, that starts at 5.

it will be 3 of us from jee's, pick up Darkstar from PMB, pick up Anky from whereever (Hillcrest) and then all go down together...

do you guys think that we will be back by 5pm, it's about and hour and a half down to the place, which means that we would have to leave there no later than 15h30, 2.5hrs enough time for a meet?

I are confuzzled. Why do we have to be back by 5pm? Depending on the mood of those gathered, 2.5hrs might be a wee bit short.

if Darkstar gets a lift with us then we have to be back by 5pm, he starts work then...

so... that's the problem.... either he must go by himself and we can leave when we want or rides with us and the rest you know...
