Well it all started when Anky mentioned the kitchen - I would have kept out of it were it not for that comment.

I've got one. 2 Wingback chairs, a black glossy stand with a 40" 3D HDTV, a z5500 speaker system to compliment the ps3, xbox 360 and wii with my pc in the corner on its own z5300 surround sound.
I'd post a pic but I fear the frogs might still be frozen. and if not I'm not gonna risk it

Re: Man Caves! Who has one? Post pics!
Unlike some people who make outrageous claims, I've got pics...
My Battlestation:
How I connect:
My Workbench - nothing exciting happening right now:
My bathroom and the dark recess of the man cave - the walk in closet:
More dark recess:
Since it's dark now I cant get pics of the veranda where my bar fridge is located. Yes, you can keep a fridge outside here without having to worry about it growing legs. You can even keep ice cold refreshments in it safely
Not quite part of the man cave, but closely adjoining is the theatre room. Complete with 55" 3D LED LCD, PS3, HD digital satellite box and ground shaking surround sound:
Not quite as professional or as high-end as naughty, but somehow even earning dollars something tells me I wouldn't keep up with him in a competition...

Re: Man Caves! Who has one? Post pics!
well your TV is bigger and newer than mine - mine is only a 50" plasma - and yours is a 55" 3D capable and the sound stuff looks pretty okay - i also started with a logitech Z680 back in the day and went on to a complete Sony system ..... only thing is i carried on upgrading the audio when i stopped the PC upgradingNot quite as professional or as high-end as naughty, but somehow even earning dollars something tells me I wouldn't keep up with him in a competition...
oh and the thing that makes me cry the most - your internet connectivity will make mine seem like its only capable of sucking a dummy though to be honest i am seeing some improvement with 8ta 3G vs cell C's wooosh technology (that wooosh is just the sound of your money disappearing into their pocket for substandard connectivity)

Dunno - I did. Imageshack looks like you need to. If you have a gmail account you have access to picasa web albums and of course there is photobucket.
Re: Man Caves! Who has one? Post pics!
just came across this thread again and its technically a necro of a comparatively dead thread but hopefully this is relevant for this thread ...... heres a pic of how the update on the man cave is progressingheres a pic of how the PC rack looks for now - this will all change soon enough
still lots more changes due - i need to get rid of the stereo amplifier and get a home theatre surround receiver so i can add the surround and centre speakers into the room
the complete set of speakers looks like this - its a complete 6.2 set of denon home theatre speakers - all i need to complete the audio aspects is the surround amplification then i will wall mount the screen and the remaining speakers will also go on the walls around the room
also planned is a few PC updates and i want to probably get a bigger TV/monitor in there and that needs to be wallmounted .... also going to have a very basic PC setup as a NAS box so that i can link up all my storage drives to all the PC's in the network as well as to the mede8er in the lounge - so im going to get a 3G router connected in there too somewhere
its not the greatest arrangement as a PC rack but for now when i want to type from afar i use one of these
this thing is just about slightly bigger than a phone and it also has lots of multimedia functionality so it works perfectly as a remote for XBMC etc - but im also planning on some mods to the chair so i can have the larger cordless keyboard and mouse installed onto the chair when i want to use the setup as a PC but i can move that to one side and just sit on the bed when i want to use it for multi-media usage ie movies and TV series etc - also going to somehow connect and HDMI cable using an HDMI over ethernet setup from my DSTV in the lounge so i can have the HD DSTV in the room as well - sadly this means it will only play the same stuff thats playing in the lounge but thats okay cos the other rooms have the extraview SD PVR connection in there so whatever happens with the HD stuff is only for me anyway
but yeah making some progress at last - i gave the older PC rack to my bro in his room and linked up a PC for him there - at a later stage i will donate the 27" monitor to him for some HD movie viewing in his room - and get myself a bigger screen (maybe a 32" or 40" LCD/LED TV ..... would have loved a 43" plasma cos those are getting cheaper but for PC usage they are not so good because of image retention and burn-in even though the picture quality is top-notch)

Dude...
I hope you reinforced the glass in that area because those speakers are going to be breaking the doors . Damn they are massive!
I dont have much in the way of a man cave, more like a spare room where my PC and other stuff reside.
On the same wall is a shelf with all my collectors for PC games. In the room is the spare bed just in case I get in the dog box...

Re: Man Caves! Who has one? Post pics!
its not about the volume levels - its about the sound quality .... and honestly they are not that loud at the moment cos im only powering them with a 40 watt (class A at lower volumes) stereo amplifier ..... then again that amp cost more than the entire speaker setI hope you reinforced the glass in that area because those speakers are going to be breaking the doors
BTW love that Ferrari flag in your room - and all the little models as well - its funny how "boys" of all ages love their toy cars
.... thats really being preparedIn the room is the spare bed just in case I get in the dog box...
