Hey Guys
I received my Mag 2 days ago but there wasn't a cover disc in this issue?
What gives?
(yes the packaging was sealed)

We will then also investigate why there was no disc with your mag.

With respect to the Z68 motherboard reviews
Where did you export the ASROCK motherboards from?
Why did you not spec a "middle-ground" R5000 AMD A8 build and the R15000 behemoth. Is the Core i3 really that bad a choice in a budget gaming machine?

According to Jump and Pricecheck, it is possible to buy Asrock boards locally, but they may not be what you are looking for.
You could try Takealot or NGR's import service, but you are likely to have to pay through your nose for the Z68 boards in the article.
Your best best bet would probably be to befriend someone who is going abroad shortly.

It is a shame that you cant get them here and not for those prices as it would be the bargain of the century......particularly in the case of the Asrock Z68 Extreme 4.
One other thing I wonder about is why did they go for an AMD in their " The workststion" build. Yes it has 6 cores but would an Intel i7 2600K not be better and why did they get Windows home premium?? I would also like to see you guys do some benchmarks to compare the AMD A8 to the core i3

Perhaps in future PCF can point us to where we can go to import such hardware at the quoted price.

I'm running a Core i3 2100 in my rig coupled to an AMD Radeon 6850 and have not yet found been hamstrung by any game. I bought the chip after reading a lot of the reviews on Tom's and at the time, the i3 mopped the floor with most of the multi-core chips AMD had to offer. Not interested in overclocking and the two cores are well threaded, best budget chip IMO
