How this section would work, in a perfect world

In a perfect world, every forum user would have some feedback on what this forum provides its users. After all, the target audience for G3AR is you: the user who comes here asking for help building his über gaming rig, the user who comes here wanting to know how to defeat the latest World of Warcraft raid content, the user who is just bored (or chatty, in Tribble and KK's cases) and wants to socialise with other members.
In the perfect world, we would have the ideal feature set for all three types of users. But we don't quite live there yet. Unfortunately, people like myself have administered forums for so long that we can be stuck in certain paradigms. (e.g. For a really, really long time, we were convinced that allowing "free" e-mail accounts back on was evil)
In this section, it is generally the community's role to dislodge that. That means one of two things:
The point is to have a lively discussion - because as I respond to feature requests, I sometimes feel that I'm strangling them. Basically, even if someone with the "Forum Technical Administrator" label comes along and dismisses feature "X", that doesn't mean you shouldn't bump the topic and add your comments. They will be read, that much I can promise.

In this section, it is generally the community's role to dislodge that. That means one of two things:
- Presenting a solid argument as to why a certain feature or improvement is needed
- Gathering enough people to persuade by sheer numbers
