I really think you should get the type of friend you are looking for with this. But you mustn't wait for them - you need to make the first move. From the profiles you have shown me - the ladies are shy and need the man to make the first move.

Besides - no matter how much I have liked someone or wanted them - I have never made the first move. And I probably have more confidence than they do. Just start chatting - something simple. Then go from there.

It seems presumptuous to me to expect to be swept away by ravishing beauty, or for a plain, but bright woman to be loved on condition that they undergo a drastic overhaul if one is no oil-painting oneself.

I would leave any total makeovers to her discretion.

But that is just my limited experience speaking....
