KZN Meet! (Bierfassl, 2011-08-27 @ 11:30)
/First off many, many thanks to Ron for creating the "Forum Meets" section. No spam topics otherwise they will be deleted on sight!
Right KZN has been uber quite of late so I reckon a meet is in order. I would like to do either the paintball or go karting thing again however the floor is open for other suggestions.
So lets throw some dates, time and venues around and get something organized!

Reason: Changed topic title to reflect venue selection and added it to post. Also added provisional list of attendees.

Re: KZN Meet!
october? i was thinking august/september... students
kartgoing/paintball/horse riding/beer drinking... i'm easy... as my better half keeps pointing out....
<edit>
or booze cruise* around the harbour!
admittedly, i haven't priced it...
chances of gear t-shirts to entice more than 3 locals? (i know that scary ron2000 is no longer here to chase them away, but it couldn't hurt...)
*not everything in life involves alcohol... but it should!

and please... not a booze cruise! you just lost 2 of the locals right there....
not out fault you missed the one during April....Anakha56 wrote:Right KZN has been uber quite of late so I reckon a meet is in order.

Who did we loose to the booze cruise? rusty I think we should just plan that one with you, the Goof, jee and myself . We could do a mini meet in August and a KK meet* in October...
*get KK hammered in holiday spirit meet...
Can I vote no to horse riding? My crotch wont love me after that...
Ten pin bowling?

Oh that brings forth so many images.
No idea when I am coming down again - but could be around August some time.

Re: KZN Meet!
I am waiting to hear from the client. I know that the people at the lodge would like me to come down on the weekend of the 6th to photograph their kid's birthday. But it is all up to the client. And as I know the area now - I will come to you this time

so just a quick word (i'm playing messenger again)...
jee is alive, just very busy and then too tired in the evenings to open her laptop....
so, she says she will see, depending on what you are doing....
but the September/October one sounds good.... just you might be helping her move house.....

If you peeps would be kind enough to put some possible dates up, I might see my way open to grace you with my presence. Finances permitting of course.

Re: KZN Meet!
@Koko - go without her if she doesn't want to. I know you are in the throws of young love and all, but you are allowed to do things on your own still

Re: KZN Meet!
Do not listen to her! This sort of advice will lead to headaches and possible termination of all the things you enjoy currently. Rather give her Rohypnol then come to the meet .Tribble wrote:@Koko - go without her if she doesn't want to. Re: KZN Meet!
Oh shame Anky. You are still an individual - you don't give up yourself when you meet the one. I know how easy it is to lose yourself - but you need to keep your individuality alive. You are a couple (two) not a merged entity

Yes they are...
Ask your husband if he would survive without you if you left? Answer he would not. A recent case study was done and it was proven. There is even a scientific video which demonstrates this:

Re: KZN Meet!
a man who cannot live without his girl for a day is a wimp....
but a man who can live without her, but chooses not to... is a man...
and i agree with Tribble in that you need to be you, and individual and she needs to be who she is.... and if she doesn't allow you to do things by yourself or with your mates, then she is insecure in herself and in the relationship....
and now it's time to leave the relationship advice (that's for the ward and jee to handle) and get back to the topic at hand....
just a pity that the public holiday in September is on a Saturday (24th)....
but jee also said that you can have a mini meet now and then another one during the holidays....
i most probably wont be coming down anytime soon (got the conference in CT during August and i will be out that whole week/end and the term is long and hectic)....
so it's up to you guys to decide.... but you can let me know if you want help with the admin part...

It is not the woman that assimilates the man - it is the man who chooses to become dependent. You can choose not to you know.Anakha56 wrote:Yes they are...
