so what is a nerd? Who are the nerds? Who are the geeks? Are you a nerd?
nerd/nərd/Noun
1. A foolish or contemptible person who lacks social skills or is boringly studious: "one of those nerds who never asked a girl to dance".
2. An intelligent, single-minded expert in a particular technical discipline or profession.
geek/gēk/Noun
1. An unfashionable or socially inept person.
2. A person with an eccentric devotion to a particular interest: "a computer geek".

"Integrity" and "integer" both contain a Latin root meaning "whole; complete." The root sense, then, is that people may be said to be acting with integrity when their beliefs, words, and actions have a sense of unity or wholeness.

It's for me interesting to see how the worlds view of nerds have changed over the past few years. It isn't as bad to be called a nerd now as it was 10 years ago. Now it's rather okay and more err socially acceptable. On that note: more jocks/plastics etc. are starting to enter nerd territory. This is great, if only this would happen with race groups as well.
