Ideas for what to do with a web server

I work for a large ISP here in Aus and one of the perks of the job is that I get $60 a month off any of their products.
This is a perk I have been neglecting for 7 months and I want to rectify it.
I was thinking of renting a web server.
They have a VPS offering where I could get a virtual hosted server with 1GB RAM, a 2GHz CPU, 30GB of storage, 100GB of network traffic, 1 static IP and Windows (2003/2008) or Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS/Debian) as an OS.
And all basically for free with my staff discount
I'm looking for (legal) ideas on what to do with such a server.
My first thought was create a Minecraft server, which I can do, but that wont really use much of the box unless it became really popular.
So I'm opening the floor to ideas. If you can think of a good use for a web server with these specs, then post your idea's here and maybe we can make your dreams a reality - just remember I hate bloggers, furries and vegans.
So nothing related to those topics, please.
