Sony confirms work on new console

But how long will it take?

Comments from Sony’s CFO (chief financial officer) Masaru Kato have confirmed that the recently hacked company is already working on developing the successor to the Playstation 3. While speaking on the company’s expenditure for the upcoming NGP handheld Kato said that research and development funds for a future platform had already been budgeted

Rerelease the ps3 as a ps4 with more ram and better cpu/gpu so it can keep its backwards compatibility.
