I have been advised not to make any further comment on the RWC, either online or at work. Apparently sport is Serious Business
and them what I say is fighting words.

/sits on hands.

What? You expected me to try to sneak something in here?

Choke,
This sport makes no sense one has to throw the ball backwards to go forward(This is intended as a joke), .

Who do you think will win this cup?

I think SA has a chance, but at this stage only a minor one.
I have killed before.

Wait, whaaaat?

A couple of guys playing with a ball where the object is, to score points with said ball, instead of whacking a ball with a stick a supposedly golden boot is needed, there are dead balls, high balls, ground balls, and balls that bounce if not caught, a dead ball is usually kicked or thrown back into play, is not that you can confuse this with our official national choking sport at special world cup events, but it has the potential to be another one....

John Smit should captain from the sideline. If that is even allowed. 2/10 for his performance because at least he showed up at the scrums :D

F du Preez is overrated at best, so is Habana.

Matfield needs rest as he is clearly tired. So am I.

John is doing a good job, why can him?, who would you have as captain, Spies? When john left the field, they were fighting about what to do with the penalty, thank goodness some one stepped in with common sense, and went for the line out still a 50/50 but much better than 3 points and risk not getting another opportunity to score that late in the game, and true enough they didn't.

They need to decide who becomes the leader, if John leaves, inbred fighting is not exactly professional, usually Victor take over, but with Victor not there what happens then, have Fourie make a rash decision, and pelt him with naartjies when he returns home, or have spies take over if neither of those two are available...

@senile
So your saying his performance was poor, then why was he making so many tackles and at nearly every breakdown...?

Smit is not the best hooker in the country - far from it. His leadership, however, is invaluable, and for that alone he deserves a higher rating than 2/10.

John is completely outclassed by Bismarck. Yes he is a great captain but there is no space for him on the field, unless he is moved to another position. And quite frankly he is not better than the other props either. So make Schalk captain and tape du Preez's mouth shut with duct tape.

Bismarck is a ball carrier of note. One of the few players that can steamroll the defense like he did yesterday which they desperately need.

So....Bakkies has made a "miraculous recovery" - or has he? How long will he last on Saturday and how many more South Africans will be injured by the robust Polynesians?
