Re: Gauteng (GFIP) Trolls
I went with all good intention to pay (even though I do not agree with the system at all) - but they are trying to cheat me. They delivered the invoices the day after the expiry date for the special discount. I won't go into details but I have emailed and phoned them telling them I will only pay the discounted rate and not a cent more. It appears as though their system has a flaw - they cannot change the amount that needs to be paid - so it seems unlikely that I will be paying these invoices.
I am still waiting for a reference number in relation to my query - have mailed them twice now.
Oh yes - sent copies of the email to Outa and the DA

Not sure it does - but it shows intention to pay so I cannot be prosecuted as a criminal.

Re: Gauteng (GFIP) Trolls
I actually feel sorry for the Sanral crowd.
If even Tribble is practicing such extreme civil disobedience, imagine what the more radical types are up to?

Re: Gauteng (GFIP) Trolls
2 Anthrax scares in the week and a bomb threat on Saturday I think it was?
Re: Gauteng (GFIP) Trolls
Two anthrax scares?!?! I thought the bomb scare was referring to the (first, apparently) anthrax scare.
Whoa.
Whoa.

Re: Gauteng (GFIP) Trolls
Had my first experience at an etag store today. Didn't leave me with the warm fuzzies.

You went to an etag store?

Re: Gauteng (GFIP) Trolls
Got an etag from Spar for one of the vehicles here at the office, but when I opened the box there was no bracket, so I had to go get a bracket. Took me all of twenty seconds to get the bracket. But those twenty seconds were preceded by thirty minutes in the queue with two people in front of me. It was like FNB all over again.GDI_Lord wrote:You went to an etag store?

Re: Gauteng (GFIP) Trolls
Every trip to their "store" is an education and an exercise in futility. They are more useless than I am. 25 minutes for their Pc to "reboot"

If you bought an e-tag you are part of a sad minority that wasted your money. Well done to the rest of us for standing up to this BS!
