Dating site steals SA Facebook profiles

Sigh, oh noes my facebook fanclub is fake.!!! but then I knew that already, I was just hoping to get some nakid pics....
Johannesburg - An American dating website has stolen the personal information of about 250 000 people, including a number of South Africans, from their Facebook profiles and posted it on the dating site without their knowledge.
The website,
www.lovely-faces.com, promises to connect you to a suitable partner. They have divided men and women into categories according to the information they have posted on Facebook. They have categorised them as “climber”, “easy going”, “funny”, “mild”, “sly” and “smug”.
People are also categorised according to nationality and gender...........

Went hunting the site this morning while eating breakfast only to find that I am not on and neither are any of my friends
. was really disappointed...

um... so how does this work? people login to the site? using the FB details and it gets stolen and used to steal info?

No you sign up for retarded apps on FB that steal your details when you click accept or they buy them from someone else.
