well from what ive seen
ull battle ur bottom off just trying to pull 2 connections lose
so i doubt theyllt come less by them self especially if made sure they were on properly

Well there seem to be lots of sales of water cooling systems so I'm sure that they are made very well so it won't break or burst or anything while in use in your computer.

When I first heard about watercooling I was skeptical also because of this but from what I've seen it works really well.

How much do you think will the cheapest watercooling cost?

Well one of my friends just bought the Thermaltake Aquarius II for R1100 buts its not a very good water cooling system.

Still its very quite and better than almost all the nomral air-cooling systems.

I don't think they making it anymore though because they have the Aquarius III out already and that costs more.

Hey guys

I got a aquarius 2 wtercooling system in my pc. It cost me 1105 including vat for mine. I got it from computers only. The clamps are pretty tight and the tupe itself is pretty hard to pull off without it almost snapping the tube. I bought it because it works like a dream for overclocking and its all internal. No hauling around a big box like the aquarius 3. Its also more expensive than the aqua 2. Great for LAN because the pc isnt that much heavier. The only prob with it is that you better have something bigger than a midi tower otherwise you going to have to mod the case to fit the radiator. All in all watercooling is awesome. Id give you guys temps but mb's temp sensor is stuffed. Wait till i get my hardcano 9 :) :) :)

Don't lie, you paid R1100. :D

They gave you R5 discount remember?

Iv seen on the internet that thay show that you get a flexable pipe that runs from the back or the front of your PC extra fans(if you have) directly to you CPU and it shows that it brings down the tempruture by more than 20 degrees.

Does anyone think that this could be better than most of the watercooling?

I wouldnt believe that unless i saw it, high end watercoolers have been known to get temps in the twentys and lower, water is the best for overclocking for sure, air is good but i think unless they make something like a modified peltier then water is the way to go for affordability and low sound in specialist coolers

No ways will you get a 20 degrees temperature drop. I've heard of that system but it will probably drop your CPU by max of 10 degrees.

Let me get this right... High end water coolers can get less than 20 degrees CPU temp... I don't believe that is right. for a water cooling system that can do that it will cost you as much as a nice phase change system, or something similar, will cost.

Ok, it is quite easy to get a 20 deg C drop from normal air-cooled temps when watercooling....My Wife's system used to do full load 55 deg C, with a P4 2.4B running 3.2 gig, now, with water, it does 33-35 full load.....

I use Waterchill blocks on the CPU, GPU and NorthBridge, a Maxijet 1000l/h pump, and a Dual Black Ice Extreme Raddy.....

Complete cost was around R2000-...not to shabby for peace of mind.

I know that can happen.

What I was thinking of is that my CPU currently runs at about 35 degrees with the Volcano 12 Extreme. I didn't think that watercooling could make it 20 degrees less.

I know you get cooling systems that run your CPU at minus however many degrees, I just didn't think normal water cooling was very good.

Btw does the speed of the pump make a major difference in the CPU temperature?

Hi Azgard,
You can only get water cooling, if 100% efficient, which it aint, at ambient temp! So, if you have a cool (read slow) cpu which is barely above ambient at load, then water won't do much for you, as you stated......if you can believe your inaccurate mobo sensor!

Water-cooling is always a very good insurance, yes, even with Prescott.... ...

Water flow-rate makes a diff. with most blocks out there, due to not very good designs.....so higher flow-rate=lower temps....unless you use Cathar's jet-impingement block, where higher flow is not needed, due to the design of the block around low flow-rates.
