My old Athlon 600. When I first got that it was such a jump up and I'd never seen something so powerful. Good times... :)

I must say I do love my i7 though since it handles everything I throw it's way. :P

My old PIII 550MHz (Slot1)
Purely because the machine I had before that was P1 and the difference in speed was mind boggling to this day.
also, it was an iron dog and handled everything I threw at it.
I finally replaced it with a 3GHz P4 Prescott, and while the Prescott was much, much faster, it never felt like a well-rounded CPU.
More brute force number cruncher than elegant performer - and would constantly run at 90°C or above...

My trusty Opteron 170. Ran a 500MHz overclock from the day I got it and served me well.

Also, after the upgrade to a i5-620 I can't really see the difference in day to day stuff in Windows. The only place I really see the difference is in games.

May I say that I loved my Pentium 120. With a simple jumper setting I boosted that thing to 166. Man that was amazing- to me that is.

Haha, I remember those. My P-100 had a Turbo button on the front of the case that changed the clock speed.

Yea Cyrix made some awesome stuff, But pretty much every thing based on Intel's P6 architecture(including the Core 2 in some ways) was the best.
