yes but Mozilla can add a backwards compatibility feature. It will solve all the problems in 1 go.

For every addon available for the browser? I think not.Siemens wrote:yes but Mozilla can add a backwards compatibility feature. It will solve all the problems in 1 go.
That thing is just as bad as the compatibility mode in windows. It just does not work.Siemens wrote:yes but Mozilla can add a backwards compatibility feature. It will solve all the problems in 1 go.
Not a FF4 ProblemSiemens wrote:Each day I need to re-login on the forums. I'm guessing it's a FF4 problem?
Also that Flash thing keeps thinking I want to download every link that I click.
Does windows program compatibility for each application in the world separate? of course not. They use 1 compatibility mode system. That is what I'm suggesting. Put a little checkbox in the options stating "run addons in FF3.6 mode".Stuart wrote:For every addon available for the browser? I have had this problem for a while. Stoopid ster kinecor. All the other sites i use that are flash work perfectlySiemens wrote:Ster Kinekor website(http://www.sterkinekor.com/site.php) gave me an error message stating that there is something wrong with Flash10.2 and I should rather use 10.3 beta. So maybe it's actually flash that's causing all the problems?
(more here)To combat the problems with add-ons, Mozilla has announced it will begin labeling add-ons that slow down Firefox. The Mozilla Add-ons site will soon begin displaying warnings on any add-on that slows Firefox start-up time by 25 percent or more. Future releases of Firefox will go even further, adding the warnings to the Add-on Manager as well.
Though which release isn’t specified, Mozilla says an upcoming version of Firefox will stop third-party add-ons from being installed until users explicitly opt in. That means third-party software running elsewhere on your computer won’t be able to install toolbars and other bundled add-ons without your permission.

If I told what the language violation was I'd have to issue myself a warning for using bad language on the forum.Siemens wrote:Wait stu, I went through the first pic again. What language violation?
