rich flavour, well you can disguise the flavour a bit with a thin white sauce...or slice it very thinly with olive oil, black pepper, and coarse salt.

Well good luck, on the whole skinder thing...I am sure the little rabbits, the owl, a jakkals or two and the rather large rooikatte would love to hear about that.

I have invited tribble to come along for bait, it will give every else enough time to run away, should there be a need.

Don't like hunting either. I let others do my murdering for me. I know animals have feelings and feel pain. I don't want to inflict it directly through hunting. Rather have someone do it humanely at a reputable slaughterhouse.

Personally I don't eat meat that I have seen slaughtered. The taste is also different because it has not been aged.

Yeah. I won a Blesbok in a competition once, but I declined an offer to let me shoot it myself. The meat was free, but not very tasty. Was probably my fault though, because basically all I know about cooking is that you have to apply heat to cook stuff.

Red meat needs to be cooked in wine....red to be specific it sort of tames the taste a little as well as tenderizing it.

However to improve the taste of any such meat it needs to cleaned (blood drained completely) cut into portions(if you have a big enough fridge kept whole without the need to vacuum seal) vacuum sealed and aged for at least a week in a fridge.

That pretty much gives you the best results.

Fresh meat never ever tastes as good as decaying meat.Well I said decaying because that is actually what meat aging is decaying does require fairly low temperatures but a little above the meat actually freezing or vacuum sealing a week is good enough cellular decay and removes the extreme richness.Red meat does however go off at a much quicker rate than beef lamb ect.

As lamb and beef usually are protected against pests, while the just dead frolicking blesbok wasn't...

Any idea if the place is accessible via motorbike?

If I get my KZ550 up and running by then, it's a 580Km trip from PMB for me :P

I would absolutely LOVE to come on my bike.

Well yeah depends on the fuel tank, but you would have to come via BFN extra 60Km's due to petrol...

How much do you get on a tank
