And the Sharks stuffed us up. Again. :|

Can't believe it's been only 20 years since the previous time they surprised me this much!

No such thing as sharing anymore... if it is a draw the one with more tries throughout the comp will take it.

Ha only 1 vote for WP probably Stuart

p.s. the 2 bottom teams are playing the 2 top teams in the 1st division for places in the premier league. Bye bye Lions and WP!

My guess is that Province will take it.

They looked the more convincing side in their last encounter with the Sharks and I am expecting them
to reproduce that performance or better it.

The one MAJOR difference being the venue. A final in the Shark Tank does not have me brimming with confidence.

Erm... say whot?

Firstly, it's the Premier Division, not the Premier League... that is soccer.
Secondly, in the Currie Cup first division the 2nd placed team would then play off with the 7th place team in the Premier div, for promotion. Also, the 1st placed team will be vs 8th placed.

This is what will happen:

Leopards VS EP Kings
Eagles VS Pumas

No WP or Lions involved - in fact the WP is in the final.

 Maybe stick to the Medal of Honor thread or Modding, you have a better grasp there.... oh wait...

You have it all wrong, I watched All out rugby and they said the bottom 2 teams from premier lea.. division would have to defend their places because of the 1st division playing so well. Maybe Naas had it all wrong then a apologize. As for WP, I just don't like them that is why I made that comment. At least, WP is doing slightly better than both the Lions and Cheetas put together (weren't they collaboratively known as The Cats once )

Anyway, my prediction is that WP will not be able to contest with the... NIK! NAK! SHARK ATTACK!!!!

^^ No, you are wrong. The bottom two teams in the Premier Division are the Leopards and Eagles; the top two teams in the First Division are the Kings and Pumas. Where you got the idea of the Lions and Western Province disappearing beats me, especially considering that WP will be contesting the final in a little under two weeks.

In any case, you will likely find yourself on the receiving end of my wrath should you continue to antagonize this forum.

I thought the premier division is where the top teams like bulls etc play. I am really sorry that I offended you. Nice friendly people on this forum.

edit: Ron2K you WP fan you. That's where the hating is coming from

Please hold while I check which division is which on Supersport's website... Then I can make constructive posts because I really do enjoy my rugby but did not realize all the divisions and what not.

edit: There are only 2 divisions Ron2K, why are you trying to confuse me?

Where did he confuse you exactly? He only mentions the top league and the one below it... I do not see a 3rd there. :?

I stand corrected but a club team like the Valke did for example can move up....?

In a world where professional case modders are not allowed to outsource work, where a Cup finalist is threatened with relegation, where real life soldiers are easily confused with computer games, and where Liverpool are in the running to top the Barclay's Premier League, it may make sense that Ron, who has lived and worked in Cape Town for a whopping three months, would be a WP supporter.

In the real world, where Ron lived in KZN for most of his life, it makes more sense that he is probably a Sharks supporter.

No, there are only 2 divisions, Premier div playing for the actual CurrieCup and the 1st division with hopefuls to move up into the top. The Valke are at the bottom of the 1st division.

I am not sure what you have to do as a club to play in the 1st division in the first place. I recall that they also have qualifying games of a sort, but it is not like the CurrieCup competition. :?:
