The new generation is pretty good, much better than the Chrysler built ones and you can see they have gone back to their good old ways from their ad's which are all elegant and sophisticated. I love the Grim Reaper ad.

Yea they broke away from Chrysler a few years back. American cars are really badly built.

What do you think about this car:

Saw that one earlier today as I was browsing around a bit. Nice car if you want to play around with the thing but personally I won't take that one. The guy already applied some of his own mods to it. First thing you will need to do on that one is get hold of the right size wheels again. Seems like every damn idiot wants to put wider rims on a GTV6. Also I won't trust his overhaul. Then you need to check as the car is at the coast. Make sure there is no rust on the under carriage.

Yes that sound like the right thing to do, cars at the cost rust like there is no tomorrow.
How about this:

I checked the cars on autotrader this morning. There is only three Alfa there worth the price they are asking and that is a 1981 Spyder and the other two are the GTV Guniors. One of which you just linked to. That car you linked is in a mint condition although not completely original either. The seats never came with a leather option. Other than that it looks to be a concords car (in other words... mint show car) If I had 50k to spend right now I would have already phoned they guy to arrange a meet.

Be that as it may, this car has all of its parts even the original merc toolbox and is in amazing condition but I must go to that shop one day. Wait I go to CP in a one and a half weeks from now, I will defiantly go past that shop.

I don't generally like the bigger cars they look like ships to me something which belongs on the water rather than on the road. Same goes for SUV's, there isn't a single one I actually find remotely appealing.

Well the big cars do have a certain appeal to me, they just look commanding but I love all good car's (so obviously not Tata's and those kind of things)

Well the bodywork is coming along nicely actually. Got the rusted boot lid fixed and also those on the passenger door. Still got a ton of body work left but it is coming along. Will have to see if the patches made to the boot holds as the rust was extensive and some cutting had to be done to get rid of it.

Rust....Terrible stuff, I remember the rust problems that Mazda's of old used to have......Like out 1992 626 (2L 16 valve...) there were holes in it (we lived in Drubs at the time)

I hope all turns out well....

Oh it will. I watched a show on TV the other day where a guy restores classics and sells them on auction. He got hold of one of the original Turbodelta's and restored it. Thing went on auction for $180 000

Thing is Stig that was an original Turbodelta not a replica and there were only a total of 400 of them build. So they are extremely rare. Especially finding one in a truly mint condition. If you really search for one you might glimpse one of them at a show once in a lifetime.
